Abstract

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1962 comprises 13 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in the months from May to December in 1962. This data material contains information from omnibus no. 11. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to the 1962 omnibuses (July-December) are: Urbanization by geographical region; sex; age; marital status; occupation of the respondent; form of salary; income of the respondent; income of the family; occupation of the head of household; education; composition of household; social group; type of home; possession of garden or weekend cottage; radio habits; Radio Merkur; and party preference. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #First aid instruction; the risk of a new world war coming soon; assessment of the Government's performance; attitude to Denmark's membership of NATO; and possible correlation between nuclear tests and bad summer weather
